You people shouldn't put pub and comp classes on the same list.

In high level competitive all of the classes and their solo performances are largely dependant on how the rest of the team plays.
For example, the engineer COMPLETELY relies on jolly co-operation between the combo classes.

Can't we just go back to having fun and giving Valve money

No.

Dropping ubers is never okay. Thats not something that you like, end a game, had 5 drops and go "I did great!"

I give valve money because I don't want to give it to key sellers.

Just buy from people that are only selling a couple, like me when I need to exchange some of my keys for ref. Unless you mean spending cash money on keys instead of trading for them, in which case, well, traders need people to keep keys in supply, I suppose. Either directly or indirectly, you're helping them.

It's okay if it's a calculated risk. You trust your teammates to take down a Soldier that's jumping on you instead of popping and wasting the uber. It's not a risk you want to take every time and it's obviously better to use it, but sometimes the risk of dropping is necessary, and when you take a risk, there's always a chance that the negative outcome will result.

Or maybe I just want to kill more Medics and them popping uber prevents me from doing that. Who can say?

Nuh uh, if a soldier is bombing you, and he gets more than like, a single rocket going towards you, and your pyro is walking around with his thumb shoved up his ass. You want to pop, no matter what. Use it as a push, or just use it to save yourself. Dropping = respawn time + 47 seconds minimum before you have the chance of pushing into a medic with full uber, unless they're dumb and decide to drop too. You don't want that.

Well, I only know what higher tier Soldiers have told me in that regard. Even if he was ESEA Invite, however, I would defer to you (as a high tier Medic main) over him. My bad. I thought you misunderstood my meaning.

you're the reason they can keep including hats and not gameplay changing items

That doesn't make much sense. They likely get next to no profit off of making new weapons because virtually no one buys them from the Mann Co Store. They're extremely easy to obtain in game

If they were to make a completely new weapon that wasn't just a reskin and sell it only through the store with strange quality then they'd likely be making some money off weapons

Dropping in sixes might be more acceptable. Just, regardless of whether you won or lost, dropping that uber cost you almost a full minute, unless your team literally outclasses them.

so making it pay to win slightly?

you should work at EA.

I'm not saying they should do that, I'd be opposed to the idea if they tried it.

The point I'm trying to make is unless they make some drastic changes to how weapons are obtained they're not going to be making as much profit off of weapons as they do off keys and other things.

Not that I'm saying they should change anything, I think the current system is fine.

I'm talking about when it's risky. As in, you might get killed or you might not.

Pyro does have a really high skill ceiling.
This sums it up pretty well.

My beloved Heavy though.... ;________;
While I agree that Heavies pretty easy (In my opinion, anyway) I still think that GOOD heavies take at least some skill. They need to use their speed a certain way and be aware of so much shit, like the snipers and their medic. I'm really not the best heavy and don't have a ton of competitive experience that's just my 2 cents on heavy.
