He took it from the web. Someone works for the datacenter and posted a speedtest result (which is obviously gonna be high), and Pinker found it and posted it here. He is Canadian, so there is no way Tampa, FL is less than 50 mi away from him :D

We don't have much of a choice.. ATT, Verizon, Comcast and you are done. My parents in Ukraine are getting 90Mbps down for like $20/month while for 50Mbps down with Comcast I'm paying like $50 :D

When I was about to cancel, she managed to give me a deal I couldn't resist - 50Mbps down, Digital Preferred package with HBO, 3 DVR receivers - all for $95/month for a year. Then she told me to call back when the deal is about to expire. I have been calling her every November for the past 3 years now. :D
