Declined Forum Delete Buttons - Give it a read ;]

Heya. I realize this idea was previously visited more than once but I feel like we should look at it again.
  • We make mistakes and post in the wrong place or just feel like its irrelevant now. Why pester a mod to delete/move the thread?
  • Sometimes we feel like we made a bad decision. Let us get rid of the dumb stuff we post.
  • Keep the negative ratings on our logs. This way we can get rid of junk and won't be suspected of doing so for the ratings.
  • Mods can still keep tabs. XenForo offers this plugin: http://xenforo.com/community/resources/show-deleted.2387/ Moderators can restore a soft delete if need be.
  • The ability to delete threads has never caused problems on other forum sites.
  • Please consider this again despite your 2012 decision
