The surfing map that Skial had was one of the first servers I went to when I started playing Team Fortress 2. Most times it was empty but it did fill up quite a lot at some times. What if it was brought back? I'm sure if it was advertised, then a lot of people would join and it'd be filled up quite a lot since it was pretty fun. I know for sure that I'd be there a lot, at least. What do you guys think?

To my knowledge, I think all the servers fill for a good portion of the timezone they're in...
 
So many servers I'd rather have, like a custom maps server that uses SLAUGHTERHOUSE rotation, plus maybe hydro.
 
While that gamemode is nice, I can pretty much guarantee it wont fill the same way as /every/ server we have.
 
I would probably suggest that, and work on creating a template for it yourself. Suggesting something with the work mostly done already is a higher chance of success.
 
Never mind. SLAUGHTERHOUSE map rotation is a little dumb.

Eh, Skial Surf had its moments when it was filled up. It wasn't always dead.
Right, but why would we replace a server that is full generally 10-12 hours a day for a server that has its moments when its full, and isn't ALWAYS dead?
 
Our surf server used to be popular but then our host made us change IPs.

I kept the server up for 4-5 months until it had a maximum of 3 players the entire day.

I heard that a large surf server closed but that was a while ago.

Our custom maps and fortwars server also died like this.
