Apparently Anya (who was directly involved and who said she didn't mind having him back) and Bottiger (who IS Skial on his own and who unbanned Direwulf) have a different opinion on this matter. That makes your That affects all of us statement invalid.

I do not know what he did wrong and I do not want to be involved (or to read) in 200-pages long useless conversation about what he did. All I see is that Bottiger has unbanned him and Anya has forgiven him - AND THAT'S ALL THAT FUCKING MATTERS.

Now at this point this discussion is useless and smells like drama, unless you wanna doubt Bottiger's decision.

Period.

I was under strong impression that he was banned from the forums - and that's the ban I was talking about.

Creeping Death I don't know why you have such a hate boner for me. I don't remember ever having a problem with you, and I think you need to realize that this isn't about you.

I am sorry for what I did, I have received forgiveness from the one person that matters. I will not break server rules again. I hope the server will have me back. I love this community and I hope I can come back. If I attack anyone personally I will gladly accept a ban again. I just want a chance to play with my friends.

Assuming this is directed at me...I really do not want you to mistake my tolerance as forgiveness. Just because I have stated that I would avoid you in-game does not mean I have forgiven you for what you have done.
 
Anya I am not going to have this conversation with you on here....You know you asked me to Add you to friends on steam, you asked me to apologize so I could be unbanned, you told me you loved me, you have had about 12 hours of conversations with me on the phone in the past month....
 
Dire, you may not like the idea, but the line you crossed is more than just a simply "I'm sorry, forgive me" kind of thing. If you've made peace with Anya then that is a good first step, and helps to validate the whole I've changed deal. But you can't just write off everyone else who was involved, especially if they are admins.

There is no magic undo button, and if the stuff that was all over the original threads regarding your ban is any indication then this is going to be a long road for you to ever get back to status quo on the forums and the servers alike.

Like I said in my last post, I am all for let people have their second chances but they need to be earned, there has to be a give and take. You don't get to do the stuff you did and just walk back in a while later, say you're sorry, and expect that to be the end of it.

This isn't about our personal relationship, I would like to play with my friends on a server that I have been playing on for nearly a year. I am sorry that all the personal drama keeps coming up, and I don't want any part of it. I just want a chance to come play with my friends.

No, it's not about me outside of my being a member of this community. Even if I were not an admin my opinion would be the same. The very post which I am quoting here has the potential to incite needless drama, enough of which has already been wrought upon the Skial community, except in this case there truly is an actual root cause.

As an admin it's my job to keep the community as a whole as happy as possible with their gaming experience on Skial servers. Having one person banned positively affects several members of this community whereas unbanning one person would have a negative effect on several.

I believe Spock said it best, and I say this not as a joke but with as much seriousness as I can muster:

You won't have conversation with me anywhere else so you are sort of forcing me to talk about it here...if you do have anything you want to talk about with me you can private message me on this site, otherwise I have nothing else to say regarding you or this situation

Also, I know this isn't about you and I...I'm not trying to make it either. I understand that you want to play with your friends, I think that's fine. I just think that if you do get unbanned you should be on a strict probationary period and gone again at the moment anything goes sour. I am not against you here, you are failing to understand that.
