There has been no suggestion for that, just "Change it to donor because why not". I'm against changing things for change's sake.Yes, but donor is a more specific term. We could use contributor for something else, such as help making/editing maps or coding.

So does moneygiver, but no one would change it to that. Contributor does make sense as well. I'm halfway on this. If you want to confuse the poo out of everyone, add it in.Donor makes more sense.
In what way? I donate funds, I contribute funds. They both mean the same thing.Donor makes more sense.
This is just semantics, contribute is a more broad term and donor hits closer to home.In what way? I donate funds, I contribute funds. They both mean the same thing.
Then why change it? It doesn't make sense to change it if it means the same thing. How many "Contributors" do we have that didn't donate money that we need a separate tag to differentiate? Contributor makes just about as much sense as donor, and since we already have that why should we have it changed? This is just semantics, contribute is a more broad term and donor hits closer to home.

Contribute can also mean that you "Contributed to keeping the servers up via a donation"![]()
That doesn't say "Contribute"
Contribute could mean "I helped program a plugin" or "I made a map"
Donor means "I paid money"
-1, it's a pointless change. "Because that's what it is"
