This individual changed his name to Luls.Ringmaster, began voice spamming some song (His name appeared as Lulz. Ringmaster on the voice chat notification for some reason)

He initiated a votemute on me for racism.
The vote passed as people thought the vote was for the spamming individual. I have never been racist on this or any server.
I was muted.
He then proceeded to mock me while I was silenced.

I enjoy the layout of your server, and I receive a very good ping on it, however the server tends to have the highest concentration of assholes I have ever experienced. It tends to be individuals of the ♥ clan.

I now notice that the individual that cast the votemute and was also impersonating me had a different steam id than eedeeq ♥ and actually belonged to user Swaggity Swooty Gimme Dat Booty, a user that was concurrently on and also participating in the mockery. Here is his id: STEAM_0:1:78732170, it matches the one belonging to "Lulz. Ringmaster" who initiated the vote.

If you wish to verify that I am the original ringmaster, simply look at the URL of my profile (which I cannot link to as I only have 1 post so far)

I believe both users should receive punishment for impersonation, Dodging (as I was unable to initiate any votes against them while muted), Abusing the vote-menu (as both had obviously premeditated this abuse), Abusing the report system, and Racism (as that was the reason they voted to mute me)
 
Admin impersonation is the only thing that is punished for. User impersonation is not a violation of Skial rules.

You were spamming annoying ass music and spamming the chat box with "Selling tons of weapons". I'm sorry if you had the exact same name as the guy playing music.
Why didn't you just tell everyone in the server that it wasn't you that was spamming music?
 
I actually made a mistake when looking at two different chat logs for the spam/vote abuse and the steam id. I unsilenced.

I was not spamming annoying ass music, that was either you, or eedeeq ♥ or someone else impersonating me. I will admit that I have a bind to say
"Selling standard weapons! Over 100 different weps for sale!" and I say it on a regular, non-intrusive basis, and occasionally advertise it over voice chat as well, non of which is against the rules. If you wish to prove that I have somehow broken the rules, please attempt to provide evidence as I have, and I will be rightfully punished.

That can be considered spam. Go to a trade server if you want to trade.

You also don't have any evidence of voice spam, we don't know which player impersonating you was doing it. If you have a demo with Steam IDs in it then post it. Otherwise there is no way to tell who was spamming, if anyone.

I believe you were the one playing the music with my name, how can you make such a claim when I have evidence you were impersonating me? I did attempt to tell people it was not me, but the name changing, voice spamming, and voting all occurred within a few seconds, and people quickly voted to mute me.

I have however provided evidence that user STEAM_0:1:78732170- while impersonating me -initiated a votemute against me, it's quite clear he was attempting to improperly use the vote system.

It's not clear at all. How do we know you weren't being racist over mic? Or that you, in fact, were the one spamming? Or that it was a simple mistake because there was more than one "Lulz. Ringmaster" to choose from on the vote menu?

You need evidence bud.
 
Ok, so I must constantly be running FRAPs, decreasing my in game performance in order to protect myself from abuse that happens within a matter of 15 seconds that is occurring in the server?

Why is user impersonation for malicious intent not a punishable offense on the server? It's clear that I am the original ringmaster, my profile link: http://steamcommunity.com/id/LulzRingmaster assures that. I was grouped up on by multiple users, who are continuing to do so in this thread, because they were displeased with my actions in chat. I will now refrain from them as I have been informed that they are in fact against server rules. However, intentionally abusing the vote system is not an appropriate way of dealing with such an issue. I again advise them to make their own reports if they are displeased with infractions I have made.
 
You don't have to run FRAPS you can simply record an in-game demo.

We don't have any rule about players impersonating other players, only admins.

We don't ban people without evidence, if we did then all sorts of reports would be made against players just because others want to see them banned.

Such seems to be the case, however, in order to address future issues I would suggest you consider the addition of such a rule. As I said, there would be no way, even if I had been capable of providing a demo, to show that the voice chat coming from "Lulz. Ringmaster" actually belonged to someone of a different steam id.
