Declined Change 'Contributer' title to 'Donator'

This suggestion has been closed. Votes are no longer accepted.
Then we can have different titles depending on your total donations, to give people a false sense of accomplishment

I think we shouldn't make it a permanent status either, but that's another suggestion.

What's wrong with contributor?
I mean, sure, if it were confusing or something it would make sense. We're getting down to synonyms and semantics here, and personally I don't see a need to change it.

Hated drum's suggestion, and this suggestion will not change anything at all and doesn't really matter
 
I think it's a better term because not all Contributors are donors. Some have done other things for us, so they are a Contributor.
 
Contributor can get a little confusing, as there are many ways to define what a contributor has done for the community.

I myself haven't contributed much or the website too much, but I have donated 5$ at one point.

Why bother? It isn't hurting anything as it is now, and I just don't see the point.
 
I think Contributor would make more sense if you have actually contributed something to the community, rather than just donating.

But still, I would +1 this. Contributors are like mappers.
