i play a ton of vsh and have recently noticed a surge in false-votes, map exploiting, and general griefing.
while most people do not read the rules having something to reference would be nice. specifically having a vsh specific section on what does and does not constitute an acceptable votemute/ban/slay.
voteslay is often used because someone is annoyed that the hale killed them, raged them, single raged them, etc. having a clear cut indicator as to what is or isnt an acceptable vote would be nice, as it allows /report to slowly fix issues. voteban seems to come up not for acceptable things like exploits/hacking but because a user is mad. these bans never pass (given 90%, i saw one once, in the past year or so) and detract heavily from the user experience. while it may be to much to ask for a vsh main admin, having clear cut rules re what is and isnt acceptable for voters would allow for reporting to slowly address these issues as they seem to be from a small minority of users.

also west_fix is not fixed, i have no idea why _fix is there. i love west(not bc of under mapping) and wish to play it more. however many players correctly point out that map exploiting occurs a large proportion of the time with a large number of players, leading to situations where >2 players r under the map and hale cannot cap. while /report may address this issue the map is highly underplayed because of the exploit. perhaps a note explicitly addressing west map exploiting?

if these arguments make no sense i totally get it. im super tired and finally got around to doing this. also my gammer is amazingly bad.

This suggestion has been closed. Votes are no longer accepted.

If you're voting on something that isn't against the rules, the one starting the vote is abusing the vote-menu.

It's not against the rules to be killed by Hale, raged by Hale or single raged by Hale. If somebody is starting a vote because of that, they are abusing the vote-menu and should be reported.

im not saying its not acceptable to vote on these things. abuse of the vote menu happens all to often and report is the only reasonable tool to address this. people seem to feel that these instances of voteabuse are acceptable. im simply asking for a specific vsh rules section explicitly explaining what is and isnt acceptable votes, so that users can reference that. some seem to feel that greifing covers legit everything.

Pretty much my stance. I'm very passive about abuse votes, but I still tell them it's pointless due to (insert reason here) Also chances are, they won't pass regardless (Bans and Slays, mutes are justified).

As for west_fix, on the US server, we rarely go to that map. But if we did, a fair amount of regulars, know that going under the map is exploiting and a banable offense and we heavily discourage and advise not to go under.

If there is someone who goes under the map several times and I am present in the server. I will report it directly via forums.
