Too bad that movie was such a slap in the face to the book. Would of been good as a stand-alone, but it shouldn't of had world war z thrown onto it.

Great read though.

The movie , to me, really seemed like a prequel to the book.

He passed away? D:
I used to buy those books for my dad as Christmas and burfday presents :\

As for me, I started reading The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare

Yeah, he passed away recently, and they cancelled the book that a lot of people were looking forward to indefinitely, so we won't be seeing it ;/

The entire Drizzt series and "The Cleric Quintet" by RA Salvatore.

I never got around to reading the drizzt series, it seems like theres so many books and theres prequels, and sequels, and all this all over the place too complicated. I did enjoy the cleric quintet though.

edit; Now that I think about it, this is my all time favorite, as well as the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child.

Checked the book out, seems cool. Downloaded the audiobook and will listen to it when I get the time.

I can't get into old-timey style wording. I dunno what it is...I enjoyed lord of the rings but in general those type of books are hard for me to get past how vastly different the language was when they were written.

You can start with "The Icewind Dale Trilogy" He wrote that first and then went back and wrote "The Dark Elf Trilogy" which was the prequel (basically where Drizzt came from and how he grew up) I would recommend it though if you like fantasy reads it's pretty awesome. If you like those then you can go from there and later on it will tie into the story line of Cadderly and Danica from the Cleric Quintet series.
