I propose that player collisions be turned off while the fall game is in progress on the minecart map. It would be helpful because if you need to quickly jump to another square that is occuiped by multiple players, you often "Bounce off", or you are pushed off by another player trying to move to the square you are on.

As Dave the Manly stated: "Player collisions should be tuned off entirely. There is NO reason to have them on at any point"

I also agree to what he said.
 
I think there should be player collisions because these games are ridiculously easy and can end with nobody dying at all.

However, in games like Deathrun, or fall game, player collisions become a nuisance when spaces become crammed.
 
It isn't possible to toggle player collisions via the map, (without the assistance of plugins) that's a server setting.
Bug Bottiger about changing it. As someone who visits JB from time to time, it's annoying as hell on DR.

I would agree on death run. Everything else though is pretty easy.
 
Alright, I talked to Bottiger, and here is the thing:

I already tried removing collisions with a plugin but it doesn't seem to be working.

Can anyone come up with other suggestions that can support this suggestion in general?
 
Isn't there a server setting that turns collisions off? There really doesn't need to be collisions anywhere, and it'd probably be a lot simpler to turn them off entirely anyways. The only issue I could see is if that setting interfered with one of the plugins needed for the gamemode to work.

I think this is already turned to 0 on the server.
 
IMHO the /hat glitch working again is a more important issue than this. Just turn on crush game and collisions are off.
 
We should fix red being able to get weapons. Its very annoying as a guard/warden when you open the cells and some sniper head shots you or a heavy walks out with his minigun and destroys blue.

I also personally believe that the bug resulting in prisoners getting weapons should be fixed before this suggestion is considered, let alone implemented.

Doesn't mean we should stop discussing it and whatever potential fixes there are. Putting off a problem just because there are bigger problems isn't ever a good idea.
