The "Learning" Channel
Has shows about the most uneducated people in the country/world (Honey Boo Boo), copies any show that got somewhat popular (America's Worst Tattoos), and has a show about hoarding wives that have nothing better to do than to use coupons to fill their garages with enough food to feed a community of dying homeless people and pay about $5 for that food to waste away in their garage (Extreme Couponing)
I hate that channel with a passion.

EDIT: Oh my god, I almost forgot how they copied the mass stupidity of those new shitty Amish shows, like Breaking Amish.
Though, I'll give it to them for not being the ones to come up with "My teen is pregnant and so am I".

the network decay started in 1999, and by 2001 they dropped the long name altogether

Cartoon Network almost went the same way in 2007 when Stuart Snyder took over after Jim Samples left due to the ATHF Boston Bomb Scare, first by dropping some good shows* and greenlighting a bunch of crap shows, then with that "CN Real" bullshit in 2009.
*Futurama doesn't count here as they didn't drop it, but rather the contract expired.
