Invalid "[SD] Junglé" spamming music on idle server, NOW UNMUTABLE

Hi,

For more than a year, each time I've joined the idle server, there's been this guy who's name I can't copy/paste. It's "[SD] ? Junglé" with strange accents and symbols. Just look on the idle server, right now, you'll see.

I would usually just join and mute him. But now, he's unmutable. I guess someone else got annoyed because today there are 2 people spamming music non-stop at the same time. I'm not reporting the mutable guy, especially because I bet it's a revenge thing. I am reporting that Junglé guy for mic spamming/hacking and for ruining the idle server.

It'a unique and fun make, but I'm shopping for other clans that do not have this problem. I've been a donator for about 2 years, but if I do not see this dealt with, I'll will not renew.

He is ruining it for everyone now, so I do think he should be banned until he stops. Dead simple.
 
The idle server goes under diffrent slightly other rules. Micspamming is not banneble, but i also agree it's pretty awfull. If it's a help, you can client mute him

But he said he is apparently unmuteable...idk if this is true though. I dont know why you couldnt mute.
 
Open Developer Console > Type in status > Retrieve UserID for SD Jungle > Type /ignore HisUserID > Problem Solved

Or you can just use targets, like /ignore @red/@blu/@aim/@all
 
Thanks for the tips, but his name is not showing in the console not the chat (at the moment at least), so I can't try this last solution.

Hope it works.

Still, abusive conduct like his should not be allowed, even in a idle server.
 
Oh, this request is invalid is it? Nice to see Skial cares about the quality of life on their servers. Spam all you want in guys: we need more unmutable hackers that make the server their own and push donators away.

it's Idle, there's no rule against micspam there

I know micspam is allowed, but he should be mutable like any other players. Unless I'm proven otherwise, I consider the fact that he is now unmutable hacking. THAT'S the problem. Skial should not allow hacks like this.

I did not complain about his micspam last year, did I?
 
try /ignore STEAM_0:0:36011847

I'm fairly certain Jungle isn't hacking... Considering he just idles and plays music.
 
I can confirm that he can't be client muted, and /ignore doesn't work in console.
 
Type it in chat, its a sourcemod command, so the / is what allows you to use it in chat... Not sure, but you may be able to sm_ignore (number)
 
/ignore STEAM_0:0:36011847 does not work, nor does any other game options or commands suggested here.

It better be a bug, because if it's an exploit, I think any moderator with good judgement would consider this abuse. If not, I guess he now owns the server; it's all good.

We'll see on the next server restart...
 
I said userid, not steamid. Just use a target, /ignore @red/blu whatever team he's on.
 
I want to hear others, like friends I'm duelling.

I'll try his user ID when I manage to find it.
 
I just went in and I couldn't client mute him. Setpember was mic spamming but I could mute him just not Jungle.

I used /ignore "#1796" and it muted Jungle. (type this in chat)

the 1796 number is his player number. This will not always be the same.

Type "Status" in conosole (no quotes) and it will bring up all the players, their player number and their steam id.

when you type it in make sure you put quotes around it and add the number sign.


BTW- I think it is bullshit that you cannot client mute someone.

If you don't put quotes around it, someone will magically appear and say
"Ban question is wrong"
