It happens more often than you think.

Point is though that in idle you have three types of people. Idlers, killers, and people playing random idle games. The idea is to kill the idlers, not to kill the people that are actually at their keyboard doing stuff. Idle isn't something you can "win," so why be forced to try to break a spawn camping situation?

Then again, the teleport to enemy spawn is in the game so that kinda throws an added factor to spawn camping.

If you're referring to the point in the Skybox that puts you in the enemy spawn, then yes, that would need to be disabled/removed as well.

Idunno, maybe I'm too much of an idle rat and I've been desensitized to all the pain and suffering.
Not sarcasm.

if Bottiger denies removing the teleporters, I can at least think up of some countermeasures to the easy ways to the sky box

for example: a roof for the sky box that kills anyone who lands on it

I did this in the revision I was working on before the SDK was borked, the only way into the skybox was via the path.

The teleports into the spawns also led to small attached rooms on the opposite side of the chute. There was a trigger_hurt on the ground, and the room was sealed off from the rest of the spawn save from an opening for firing. I also reworked the exits out of the spawn rooms to prevent people from bouncing grenades inside.

I'm using one of the selectable betas for TF2, sdktools_beta, which works fine

all you have to do is opt-in to said beta, and run steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\bin\hammer.bat

I added sliding doors to my copy of Idle
