And I have been hosting a multiplayer. Unfortunately the hosting tool is vanilla minecraft server so I don't see it being hosted as part of Skial. However, my server is up under a concealed address (Steam message me for it, I don't want my IP on the foums) and I'm about to start up a new map.

What s FTB?
Feed the Beast is a modpack and launcher designed by the mod authors that made the mods themselves. This pack was born for a specific map made by Slowpoke101. We won't be using this specific pack because the map is still updated with the pack at their speed, but the Direwolf20 pack was made by a youtube user and is constantly updated. We will be using that one.

Been watching Feed-The-Beast very closely since the beginning. I still play my own-made pack but it contains a similar variety of mods. Hoping the Ultimate pack comes out soon, don't think there's much at this point holding it up.

I still prefer Tekkit to FTB
Played both for a while tho.
Are you running med or hard mode?

I'm not biased, I've played both Tekkit and Feed the Beast for the same amount of time - Tekkit is better, even more now with its superior being the Technic Platform.

I haven't been updated for awhile, but has there been any news about the future of redpower and FTB? Will it be included in the 1.5.2/1.6 pack or will they ignore it in the future because of its slow updating?

I've left FTB the moment Technic Platform came out and a new revision of Tekkit was finally released. Can't answer.

Even through the headaches I got from playing both, I have to admit I like Tekkit better. FTB seems a bit overrated tbh.

How's Tekkit these days?

I pretty much left that client when they changed the whole mindset to that everyone could make a pack and they changed around their own packs, a bit overwhelming for me.

And the whole "SSP and SMP is the same thing now", can any pack now be used in single player without a problem?

Tekkit is now better than ever before, it's absolutely revolutionary. Yes, you can play -all- modpacks on Single Player as well.

Tekkit's actually doing great nowaday. No problem at all really. I don't know about the full version though. I have tekkit lite. :/
