Believe me, I can give you a school here in Belgium that is not worth calling a school. It's just a gathering for underaged kids who don't wanna do things whole day and in the end still get their diploma. And unlike them I did my best and then a teacher said I was stupid and that I wouldn't reach much. But then again, we did nothing in his classes because he didn't teached since he can't teach. ;P Cheers

That was a catholic school, they were concidering about letting Muslims wear their "headkerchief". It's a freakin' catholic school, they even thaught about other Gods, not only "our" God. So they were kinda turning the school into a city-school. All due respect but if you want something from a school, find one who gives you the oppertunity, don't make the school change. The school shouldn't be changing that anyway. I asked them to change them about the bullying but they didn't want too. They had no anti-bullying policy so that fucked me up for 9 years of fysically and mentally bullying (left behind in Paris, called names, called ugly, called fat, called stupid, called retarded (autism), pushed around, destroying stuff, ...)
So yeah, been thru shit so everytime a little kid takes his life due bullying I call it lame since I got thru shit too and here I am now: still alive, living my life and so fucking happy not to be in school anymore

I don't understand the parallel you are trying to make. As far as I can tell, doing both of those things is legal, and both are going to stir up a shit load of controversy. Hell, I'd wager that a lot of people would get more mad at the flag burning.
People get arrested for saying a word, because the use of that word is illegal, but condemning everything that a country stands for by burning its flag is not illegal and you wont get arrested for it. And that's what I implied, burning the flag enrages a lot more people than saying 'nigger' it's the law gone mad.
We live in a country where African Americans and other "insert nation here"-Americans want all the benefits of being a "minority" yet they do not want to claim ownership of, in fact, being black.

I think you have a wonderful country, in fact the best in the world (I quite like japan too) believe me, the freedom you have is unequalled in any other place in the world, be proud of your country and what the constitution stands for.. never let them change it.
True, but that's a debate I could rant over for hours so I'll just agree.
Also, America may be #1 in freedom and choice but in turn we are insanely far behind in a vast majority of other categories such as education and financial status (for regular workers such as anyone non-administrative).
I mean if you really want to get a good sense of the rest of the world go watch a documentary called "The world without US". In the film you'll see a lot of amazing things such as how citizens in Kuwait have free housing and education thanks to their oil profits. Just think about how great a country could be if its people pushed greed off to the side for the betterment of its people as a whole such as they have.
