Declined Sev's Admin application

I understand if it's a joke with friends that's why I said "apparent" but it doesn't look good on an admin app.
I call my friends names all the time which probably looks bad in chat and especially one-sided chat.
Anyway you have not been punished for the apparent racism but it doesn't look good and hopefully you'll lay off potential racist comments in the future, you may be joking with a friend but someone else on the server who doesn't know you may not appreciate your comments.

Taken out of context, a lot of things look worse than they are, I fully understand and respect that it isn't acceptable to use such language publicly, and I can honestly say that I didn't think of the consequences of speaking in such a manner at the time.
I hope that people who has negatively influenced this thread will try to get to know me and not judge me by the way I speak sometimes, as I have said before, the banter is not out there to hurt people.

I don't appreciate the way you've addressed me here, I've also checked out some of your previous posts in various topics, it seems my initial suspicions were correct.
When I applied for this admin position I had around 700+ hours on Skial, I play the game rather than use forums on a daily basis, but that is just me, I was also informed that having less activity on the official forum would not impact my application in any way.
You hit the nail on the head when you say about the community only having chat logs to go off, and I can understand this is why people have negative outlooks towards me already ^.^
I will consider to post more on the forums, but please do not take my chat logs as a description of my personality, it is just text after all.

You gotta understand, and I'm sure now you do, that Skial has a very strict anti-racism prospective, and we like to keep the servers clean so everyone has the best TF2 experience possible. I'm not going to judge you by chat logs, but I don't play on the EU servers so getting to know your character will be difficult.

Yeah, and believe me, I do not mean the things that I say in the chat, it really isn't a personal attack nor a real feeling - I've just had a look through my chat logs and I can totally see it having a negative impact, I can understand if people feel that it doesn't look good, but again, I really do hope people see past the banter, it is all said in jest and I promise that I am in no way trying to harm others.
Forgot to add this in: the majority of communication on skial is through use of the voice chat, so a lot of the comments found in my chat log do seem slightly strange and one sided, I do appreciate that they don't reflect the best image.

Could you explain this? Isn't playing music through the voice not allowed as well? The application itself looked just fine, but your chat shows something completely different, and I'm not sure which to believe. Your immature past was as early as yesterday, so I dunno, unless you've completely turned over a new leaf. And sure, we don't know what context your chat was used in, but the racism itself has no context that is allowed on Skial.

Is that a new rule? Because the times i've heard music in the god damn Eu servers makes me want to vomit. That's the main reason i dont play with any sound on anymore. That dubstep killed me.
Also if you think Anybody that has said racist words on the internet is racist about 99.5% of the internet is racist. Oh including me. I'm pretty racist if that's the thing we measure racism in.
I'm also probably a rapist a child molester and a sexist. Not sure about other crimes I've committed.

Appreciate your post ^.^ again, I could highlight every single one of the chat posts made and once they are put into their situation, it would seem reasonable, in this particular instance, it was to do with Skype, I however don't believe I'm obligated to talk about every single instance.
I do appreciate some wondering about my ill behavior (so it seems) on the skial servers, I myself did scroll through my entire chat log, and yes, it does look worse than it is. One sided chat logs really don't bring the bigger picture in.

Its considered micspam, if I remember right... I just know I silence for it. And if you're using racial slurs, it may be allowed elsewhere, but its most definitely NOT allowed on skial. Its in the rules, and we do silence for it... Which is why I say racial slurs have no context that is allowed on Skial.

It's very difficult in my position to make a positive impression when the skial community seems to only judge me from my chat logs, in some cases a lot of the content is extreme and shouldn't be said in a public server but I do hope that you guys will refrain from lowering my reputation because of these instances, taking this content out of context and displaying it as evidence against my application.

It was actually suggested by smokey, the person that introduced me to team fortress - because I spend a lot of time on the skial servers and consider myself a kind and fair person, I enjoy it as much as everyone in this community when we can have fair and awesome matches with everyone having fun and wanting to come back to play again.
It's not about lowering your reputation. Many people don't realize that when they apply for admin at Skial, many members/admins will go through and look at chat logs, previous bans, Trade rep, time spent on servers, groups you belong to and so forth. It may seem like people are getting down on you, but this is a large community and we expect our admins to be professional, helpful, knowledgeable and most of all make good judgement calls. It's really nothing personal, but if you look through prior applications then you would see what others have gone through to even be considered.
