Fun fact, commercial fertilizer is an oxidizer and is used in amateur bomb making.

Oh, and for those who dont know what an oxidizer does, its the part of a combustion reaction that goes boom

Before fertilizer can be explosive you need to have at least 21% Nitrate in there. Thanks to McVeigh you cant get fertilizer with over 21%, nowadays the maximum is 16%. So making a fertilizer bomb these days in your backyard will simply result in a wet fart.

But since this is a factory, the raw fertilizer is well over 40%. Hence the big boom.
