Somewhat Threatening Sniper
I personally don't like F2Ps too much because from what I've experienced, they tryhard on trade servers when others are just trying to fuck around and have fun, and of course, are not hatted like the rest of us Gentlemen/ Ladies of Class here. But when an F2P comes along that isn't a complete tryhard funkiller with no grammar skills, I try to commend him/ her.

I was playing on 2Fort once and a F2P got a Salvaged Crate #40 drop. 15 seconds later, he deleted it because it took up his inventory space.
F2P's are the reasons why you and me don't get good drops. You should hate them.

I don't mind them. We all started out from square one at some point. All they are are just players who haven't bought the game, so I don't see a reason to hate them in general.

But any ignorant assholes stupid enough to believe the F2P stereotypes don't deserve to play TF2.

I personally don't classify anyone as f2p, because either way, they're just a player. If they're a new player, they're probably going to act like a new player, if they've played a while, they'll prolly act like that... Being f2p doesn't make you new to the game. Just says you haven't paid for anything. -shrugs-

If I'm correct salvaged crates aren't limited in numbers, they just have a very low drop chance. Point being what he did does not affect your chances of receiving a salvaged crate from a drop. Or any drop for that matter.

He did however take out a rare item from the game. But to be honest I can't blame him. We all do stupid shit in games from time to time, when you're new you're just more likely to do it.

I know Meowcenary, I was just making a joke and pointing out a situation that we can all cringe at =\

I'm usually lenient towards them - we were all new once and I deleted a crate 30 when I was an F2P (totally regretting it now of course).
If I'm on a pub, as long as they put me out when I'm on fire, I don't care. Also, the noob Medics usually fix their medibeams onto my shiny hat and never let go, so I don't have any complaints :P
Live and let live (or play and let play).

I don't really mind F2Ps that much, I was F2P once as a lot of people were.

The people I really hate, though, are those who think "tryhard" is an interesting insult to throw about all willy-nilly.

If it makes you feel any better. I've dropped three salvaged crates so far, and I've given all three away to random people. No, not friends. Random people.

I don't like F2Ps because I know a few that have more unusuals/buds/maxheads in only 3 months of playing than I have obtained in 3 years

New players will lack experience that old players have.
That is the only difference between those that paid to play the game and those that didn't pay to play the game in terms of my opinion towards them as players.

My thought is that I am more willing to play with a new player because some people believe this discussion is needed to be kept alive. A lot of old players can't, mentally, wrap around the idea that there is other people that doesn't have the same amount of experience as they have. The old players will then respond to that with a very big generalization and need to slip apart one community to two sides to justify their own insecurity in players inexperience.

I play to have fun, and do you know what old players do that new player doesn't do?
Wasting time grumping away on that the "f2p" are a bad influence on the overall game

If someone doesn't want to play with new players, go ahead and don't play on pugs because new players will use the quick play. But don't waste your time arguing for something that isn't even worth the time arguing about.

Well it is true, most of us were once "free to play" on Team Fortress 2 (unless you bought the orange box.)
I don't mind a person who is free to play of our beloved game, because not everyone has the money for mirco-transactions like the rest of us well dressed gentlemen. And just being free to play doesn't effect your skill in the game either, like if someone like Stabbystabby were to get on an alt account he wouldn't lose his skill. Now what I don't like are the players, any of them, unusuals or not, that can't spell and toss around lame insults like noob and such.

I don't mind F2Ps as long as they don't waste mine and everyone else's time begging for hats inside spawn when they could be outside spawn getting better at the game.

Most do. Sure, they suck at playing at first, but that changes...eventually.

i dont hate f2ps. only thing that pisses me off is when they get gey lucky kills. other than that its free strange knife kills lol

Deleting a salvaged crate, I'd understand... Deleting a salvaged crate #40 on the other hand?
