If you read the tf2 main page they are having a company called NACE or something like that making the pyro and demo man action figure which only 10,000 are being sold. When you get your demo or pyro it will come with an exclusive code to redeem a very rare item that only 10'000 people will own. I have pre ordered my pyro here http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=NEC12031&mode=retail so please don't let me be the only person on skial ordering one. The item releases at the end or near the end of January so you need to order fast.

Also, at 10, 000 of these being sold, the item will at best be worth 5-6 keys (unless it's insanely popular.)

well you half to remember if only 10,000 are coming out and there were a total of 66,893 people that were playing tf2 today also I,m not counting the mass of people that get on weekends and holidays 10,000 is a very small number to the tf2 community. Also half or some of those accounts will be banned some will be hacked and deleted and some will be crafted due to stupid people or some people will just abandon there tf2 account. so I can see the prices staying low for the first month or two but after they will pick up in profit real fast. That is if the items even look good when they come out.

also I would just like a pyro and an exclusive item for tf2.

Look at the soundtrack box, there is roughly 2500 of them and they go for 10 keys if the seller is lucky enough, there might not even be a class toy specific version of the item which would put the items at 20k (10k of each class toy.) The exclusive will be hot for the first week after code release, then it will drop as people look at the numbers, it might rise after that but that's only if the item is good/class specific. If the item is another shitty pin then the price will drop even faster and it'll probably plateau at a couple keys and finding buyers will be a little challenging.

Either way though, you'll get a cool toy and if the item is crazy cool/popular then you also get some extra digital cash/swag.

in the end I love the way the pyro figure looks and I need something on my shelf next to my complete colico vision gaming system gta 5 pre order collector items and my dead rising 2 collectors set. Knowing me I might keep it because I love the things I get I mean I had my genuine awper hand I got from pre ordering and was sad to let it go 2 weeks ago. I also hope they come out with the class specific item for the class you buy either demo man or pyro.

For $21 I'd rather buy $21 worth of keys which will probably be more than what the in game item will be worth.

Only action figures I might look into blowing money on are Medic and maybe Engineer if he comes with a tiny dispenser.
 
I saw that 13'' medic for $209
I think I might order the pyro I don't care much for the way the demo is posed

Soundtrack boxes are still available via buying "Portal 2: Songs to Test By" on Amazon. I think the only reason why they are highly priced is because of speculation. Nobody knows what's in it yet and people hope that investing in it will pay off.

For comparison, the What's in the Sandvich Box had a limited run of 200 and is currently 8 buds. 8 buds=224 keys. These figurines have a run of 10,000. 10000/200=50. 224/50=4.45
So, you're probably going to be gettting around 4 or less keys for this. I'd totally buy it just for the Action Figure. I'm just saying that if you're going to buy this simply for a large payoff in buds in the future, It's not worth your time.

Also, I just wanted to point out that a majority of TF2 Players are F2P and probably wouldn't be buying this. As for the premium players, I don't see them being willing to pay $20.
Also, where are you getting your statistics? They seem off and your logic is a bit confusing.
