This morning I wanted to play on the Skial servers, tried to join: Banned.
Came to sourcebans pages...
Reason: LINKED: New STEAMID from banned IP (http://www.skial.com/sourcebans/ind...rch=STEAM_0:1:49692335&advType=steamid&Submit)
Why I should be unbanned:


I'm not an alt, my bro |TPN| Obi plays in the same house (and thus same IP) as me. He used the n***** word 2x on Thundermountain EU server of skial, got banned for it. It seems the Console has found my profile in the database and banned me for having the same IP, making me look like an alt account.
We have a shared IP address, but that doesn't mean he can use my acc and I can use his. We both have seperated computers and don't know eachothers password.

I'm not an admin, but I can tell you that the admins will probably want a picture of each of you with SteamIDs displayed. Possibly voice verification as well. Maybe you could get that going while you wait for a reply?

Since no moderators have gotten here most of the time they'll ask for proof that it is two different people, usually the proof is in the form of sending them a picture(don't post it in the thread) of both of you holding up a paper saying I'm so an so and he's so and so

How would that work since your steamprofile/steamrep/whatever all share the same IP? Physical verification is needed. And then slap your room mate.
 
Was waiting for HIMYM to give his opinion on this but he's offline right now and there is only 12 hours left in the ban...

I'll unban you since your stats show you both in game at the same time. Slap your room mate again and make sure neither of you get banned in the future.
 
I don't know why nobody suggested it before, but you should slap your brother about it.
