I understand ping doesn't lag servers; thats not why I'm suggesting this. I also understand some people are forced to play with high ping because of their location; I understand that too, and I'm not referring to them.
I'm suggesting that very high pings be capped, simply for the sake of gameplay.
Examples, if needed: Awhile back I was playing against a pyro with literally 750 ping. I couldn't hit him because he was virtually teleporting across the map making his movements extremely difficult to predict and making it extremely difficult to kill him unless you knew where he was going to lag to next and have explosive splash damage.
Today I was trying to headshot a heavy with 700 ping. When I got my crosshairs over him, he instantly lags his way behind a wall next to him. I didn't even see him move behind the wall, he just literally appeared behind it.
And don't get me started about 700+ ping spies. They take facestabbing to whole new levels.
My point being when players are playing with VERY high ping it gets to the point where others have significant difficulty trying to kill them because they 'teleport' lag everywhere and / or kill you in outrageous ways
I'm only asking that VERY high ping gets capped. This suggestion has nothing to do with the supposed possibility that ping causes overall server lag.
