Because for some reason my account just got trade-banned.

I have no idea why this happened. I just got a pop-up on my computer informing me of the ban, and my account is now tagged. Checked out my trade history, and there's no evidence of anybody hijacking my account to launder stolen goods or anything.

My current suspicion is that somebody I tagged as a scammer probably got vindictive and reported me to Steam Support. It wouldn't be the first time Steam Support reps get a bit overzealous and act without researching *coughDERRICKDUPINGATONOFWARHEADScough*, so I'm going to be out of commission until this is straightened out.

Got a ticket going with Steam Support right now. But apparently they're backlogged on their tickets, so who knows when this will be resolved.

I'm posting this thread because I want complete transparency on this issue.

So, with the aid of HelenAngel, we've come to the conclusion that I've been set up. Looks like I MM'd for a fake trade. Two alts of somebody with the intention of faking a PayPal chargeback (his mistake; provided me with really bad "evidence"), for the sake of reporting me to SR.

Hm. I wonder who hates me enough to actually SET UP a scam. What notorious scammer that we know would possibly do such a thing?

Quick, does anybody know of a site that tracks DOTA 2 item trades the same way that TF2Items tracks... TF2 items?
