Ok so i think its time to update map to beta5!

(Will post pictures later.)

All suggestions welcome.

To Do:
+ More rooms + room where you can't do / recive damage.
+ Stop "From-Spawn-to-Spawn" Rocket spam. or alternative exit.
+ Do nice doors.
+ Pictures when map is loading.


Done:

+ Fixed Textures.

Make it easier to rocket-jump so cinic can feel like he is better at rocket jumping than me
 
Replace it with something entirely different.
Seriously, the original beta3 that Winry made was awful.
 
Hmm well for misclanous ideas:
-Make a something special in the area above blu spawn like a secret boobies room
-Have it so that the crane looking thing leads from the room on the north side to the south side it'd pretty interesting
-Maybe have an enabled God mode room, so users can show off their swag with out being trolled, but make it so it can't be exploited so people can shoot stuff out of it. Also maybe add an area for spy crabbing inside this area

I like your ideas. I agree with Cylosis, the non-Portal props need to be removed. This map could be a great one if it gets some work.

Give it a more portal look, unlike the props you've added in the last version, take a look at portal 2's maps and such, or at least something like vsh_aperture or killing floor aperture, i'd also like to see some interactive props and design

When you say new skybox i'm a little worried, what are you thinking of exactly, as portal 2 has a foggy skybox like it is now
I'd look more into exposing the skybox less, like adding ceilings in certain areas, as well as putting some structures in the skybox (see vsh_aperture)

A glados isn't nessecary, but i'd like to see how it's been set up

Also, i'd like to see the map extended a little more, or at least have more than just the 2 spawn exits
Since there's only 1 exit per spawn, this makes it too easy to spawncamp, and is pretty frustrating to those who just wanna roam around

And lastly, though very unlikely, the original idea of having trade prices on "screens" for fast easy reference was kinda cool, and i'd like to see that somehow implemented again

We have the price check mod for this which many people are aware of.
 
I think people just come for the awesome people there (which is at least 50% regulars everyday). The map is just a bonus because it never gets old and we're the only ones running it.

PLEASE fix how goddamn deep the pit is under the map.
Maybe a ramp to get to up high, where your sign with your name is.

Teleporting doorway to a surf ramp? :D
 
We have the price check mod for this which many people are aware of.
I know, i said unlikely because of that, plus i doubt there'd be a way for the signs to be automatically updated, i just think it was a cool concept

Map can't be updated automaticly with new price textures / overlays. really. maybe source 2.. maybe... but for now server has nice pricecheck plugin so it's ok.

EDIT: hmm i saw some plugin for servers that add overlays to your selected places but it's skial decision.
