Okay,so basically people dress up in "scary" costumes and have a weird obsession with pumpkins.
Why pumpkins?

Old ass Irish traditions, used to be a turnip. Mainly pumpkins because they are easy to carve. We also carve them to keep demons away. We're kind of weird.
