Invalid Banned for micspam

  • If you are not the person that was banned/muted, you are only allowed to post evidence. Trash talk is unnecessary.

I was banned for micspamming on the Trade 1 server.

I'm not sure if it was Ruelel, but I think he told me to stop, so I just told him instructions on how to client mute me. A little later, I'm banned for 3 days. I just think a ban for micspam is a little too much, as a gag would simply stop the problem.
 
Even if you told him, you shouldn't have been mic spamming anyway. Also gags aren't as effective as bans

If you actually read it, you would know that I said that I thought the ban was a little excessive. And this is a section about bans, isn't it? Not gags. If I was gagged, I would probably just have said "aww" in the chat.

Actually no you wouldn't. Gags restrict you from typing, not micspamming
 
Client mutes don't fix problems. Micspamming is a problem. Not everybody knows how or wants to go through the trouble of client-muting you. Then there's also the fact that, even if you're client-muted, the people who haven't muted you will continue to complain about you on voice/text chat nonstop, as well, causing annoyance even if you've been client-muted.

So a server mute would have done well, wouldn't it?

You did something against the rules, an admin asked you to stop, you responded back something smart-allecky and got banned for your troubles...it isn't a long ban - wait it out and behave yourself next time.

would have done it but its not more effective to ban because now u know for a fact that it is against the rules and you shouldnt do it anymore
