Ban Appeal 8/13/2012

Greetings,

I attempted to join one of the skial games and was immediately kicked.

Looking at the ban reason http://www.skial.com/sourcebans/ind...rch=STEAM_0:0:53017334&advType=steamid&Submit I see that I apparently went through a banned IP.

This was more than likely due to me still having my router redirecting through my VPN tunnel service (http://www.privateinternetaccess.com) which I use to for anonymity during web browsing. I normally don't have it running (it kills my ping), but I did during this session.

However, given that it shares IPs among a large number of people, I'm guessing that someone else who used the service did something stupid to piss you guys off.

While I'm not a hardcore player, I have been playing on your server off and on and have enjoyed it. I would appreciate it if the ban on my account was released.

Firstly I didn't realize proxies were a no-go, I apologize for that and will gladly accept a ban for inadvertently breaking that rule.

However, in this case the use of a proxy was inadvertent with no intent to deceive or defraud the system (the vpn proxy is router based, and was left on by mistake).

I would humbly request that the ban at least be made non-permanent - I've enjoyed playing on the server and would hate to lose the privilege.
