Hey guys,

I just tried to join to a TF2 Game and was instantly banned permanently. This was automatically triggered because of my IP (it's a static IP from the university student home through which all outgoing connections go)

I'm the latest ban there (few minutes ago)

It would be cool if you remove the IP from the Blacklist - The guy you banned because of using an aimbot does most likely not even live here anymore.

Greetings

it's a part of the network infrastructure here. Because so many PCs use this Ip to connect to the internet it is nearly impossible to register something like a new gmail account or similar.
@Dave the Manly: I can't say much about the frequency of such cases - I've never been admin on a public gameserver.

You're just blocking at least 450 student rooms with this single ip - that is pretty much what I wanted to tell you. [edit: ugly smiley removed]
P.S.: excuse my bad english - it's like 4:30 am here

Why are you the first person to contest it?
It's not like the whole school is on that one IP address. It's probably just a small group that has had that one IP address and he's just the first one that plays TF2 that connected to a Skial server since then. For about a month I was banned from 4chan because I got an IP address at school that had be previously banned.

http://www.skial.com/sourcebans/index.php?p=banlist&searchText=138.246.2.134 Seven people have been banned for that ip, one the person who cheated, one who contested, and five that did not.

I'm not saying he's lying or anything, I'm just wondering why no one else has bothered.
