pc gamer rated it as #4 of the top 100 games ever
New Vegas did not even make it into the list
I've played fallout 3, it was amazing
I've played Fallout 3, it fucking sucked imo, so please do elaborate.

Why I think Fallout 3 sucked:
It's a fucking wasteland. Of course I knew it was a wasteland since it's set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, but what I mean is it might aswell have been GTA: Calmtown without vechiles and cops, when I play post-apocalyptic video games I want some kind of grim shit to it, like starving children you have to shoot since they steal your food and you're about to die, or some brutal thing like that. Instead we get 50s tunes, some people acting as if the apocalypse didn't happen and a game with a color palette as immersive as Call of Duty.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I personally liked Fallout 3 more. It had a better storyline, I just liked the idea of being a son going to find his dad and then saving (or ruining) the world's water supply.
Also I liked the map better in Fallout 3, it just actually looked and felt like a post apocalyptic city. In Fallout NV they rebuild Las Vegas (Instead of maybe an actual city for everyone where they don't have to pay to get in) and act like nothing happened (But I suppose the people are just trying to make the best of their situation)

I bought it back when they gave the gen. Pip boy with it, still haven't started up once.

3 is quite good, although is a big let down after the first two parts. Going to play this one soon.

Holy fuck yes. I played the ever loving shit out of 3 and NV on the xbox, and beat it multiple times.
There's a great deal of replayability through skill builds, karma and factions. There's also a tonne of sidequests + unique weapons to find and complete. Regarding the debate over whether NV is better or worse than number 3, I'd have to say 3 has a better storyline, and it feels like your actions in game actually dictate the storyline, more so than NV. Not to say NV is bad, I actually think NV had better dlc.

Thanks for an actually good explanation of the 2 games.
