Racism ban

  • If you are not the person that was banned/muted, you are only allowed to post evidence. Trash talk is unnecessary.

I was banned from Chicago 2 badwater server. I realize this was only a 30 minute band, so whatever. But the guy that started it was travis.cunningham94. The vote passed almost unanimously. (if not unanimously) the ban was for racism of which I have have never been racist. If you search my history you will see it is squeackly clean. Plus I AM A DONATOR. I like playing Skial servers but if I can get banned by a troll and his buddies so easily, I can very easily donate to another server.

edit: The point of this is that I hope that other people don't get screwed over by this travis.cunningham94 troll

Yeah, we don't know if you were being racist over the mic, and a voteban almost never passes. If it passed then you almost must've been doing something. Even if not, it's for thirty bloody minutes. Blackmailing because you're a donator isn't going to help your case.

As Perseus said, I have trouble believing that 95% of the server decided to voteban you for absolutely no reason. Even if they did - it's only 30 minutes.

I was just pointing out that I have made a money commitment to Skial servers, why would I break rules to get me banned from servers that I pay to be on? I was not trying to "blackmail" I am sorry that I was coming off that way.

Saying "its only 30 minutes" doesn't matter. Shouldn't matter if it was 5 minutes or 24 hours. Saying that votebans "hardly ever pass" doesn't change the fact it did. Say that "I have trouble believing that 95% of the server decided to voteban you for no reason" doesn't change the fact that it did.

Plus being a donator in no way, shape, or form allows you to break any rules.

Did I suddenly turn racist last night?

I am not sure what I expected when I posted this, maybe a "wow that sucks," or maybe other accounts of this guy doing this to other people. I definitely didn't expect to be ridiculed.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I know that if you hadn't mentioned being a donator I would have been way more civil to you. It's really not a nice thing to do.

That being said, do what Rvsz said, and do remember that in the case of votemute or voteban it really boils down to your word versus pretty much the rest of the entire server.

That's his point. Votebans are hard to pass. You have to piss off a lot of people to actually get one to pass.

FYI... 4 out of 5 times that we have people whining about a 30 minute ban for more than 30 minutes it usually turns out that they did something deserving an even longer ban. How 'bout you relax and stop giving us a reason to find out that you did something worse. OK?
 
Please feel free to look into my actions as much as you want. I don't break the rules. Therefore this will (probably) never happen again. but if it does, I now know what to do thanks to Rvsz and Bottinger. Issue resolved, enjoyed my ban, ready to move on.
