Many people on saxton actually want the mic spamming and it is easy to client mute, as long as only one person is mic spamming at once then buff overflow is not a problem.

I would of edited my other post, but I figured since I was being ultra clever and funny, I'd give you a more serious response here. It's just as easy and not half as annoying for you to go to youtube and find whatever song, micspam whatever and listen to it on your own computer without other people having to hear it.

Micspam should not be allowed on any skial servers ever, it's just way too obnoxious to those who don't want to hear it, can cause overflow and disconnects, and as I said above...just download whatever it is the person who micspams is playing if you want to hear it.

Hale servers are hardly even part of the consideration, even if a different breed of people play there...I wouldn't want to hear micspam whatever server I decided to grace with my presence, and the average sane person would concur with me.

It does matter. We don't seem to have any kind of clear ruling on this, ultimately if someone is micspamming music and people don't like it, votemute is extremely easy to get passed if the others agree.

On a server where it seems over half the "regulars" feel like breaking the no spamming rule, 65% is hard, and a client mute doesn't prevent buffer overflows

Can you explain one logical reason to me that you should be allowed to micspam? As I've said a million times ,if you personally or they personally want to hear whatever the hell it is you're spamming, download it for yourself and play it...this way you don't piss off people. If one person can hold an intelligent debate with me on this topic, my opinion might be changed, but until someone presents logical arguments for allowing something that people might leave the server for to be played, when you yourself can play the same shit on your own computer, my opinion remains the same.
