I fully support the idea of a TLDR rating. I also think we should use that cinic face massively shrunken down for confused instead of question marks.

tl;dr ratings are bad and should feel bad because you can't know if a post was worth reading until you read it and if you have then you read it didn't you?

there's two things wrong with that argument:
  • the rating could be set to be a neutral one rather than a negative rating
  • any user who rates a post can undo their rating at any time and if they choose to do so, give it a different rating
