There was nothing homophobic about this ban. There were complaints about your spray. He did his due diligence and tried to tell you to cut it out after the complaints. How was he supposed to know you don't have sound? I mean... How can you play without sound anyway? Sound is key to the gameplay.

I dont think re-spraying an allowed spray, when it has been covered by those that dont want to see it, is disruptive. I think covering up an allowed spray, for simple homophobia, is more disruptive.​
Id like to think it was something other than this but there are dozens of explicit heterosexual porn sprays and there is never a complaint or rush to spray-over those.​

I seriously doubt there were more than 5 people who had any objection. At least 1 person there also liked seeing it. Claiming half the server wanted me to remove it is bald faced exaggeration im afraid.​

I can understand that, but i imagine such complaints would have to be based on the image being genuinely and universally offensive, not simply something you dislike or disagree with.​

I honestly don't see how you could have missed the message. It came out in big, white, letters in the middle of the screen. I don't have a mic on my desktop so it couldn't have been from the sound.

I dont really see any way a permitted gay porn spray is 'disruptive' through anything but homophobia. A 'vanilla' gay spray, no matter how many times sprayed, cant just become disruptive..

You can but shouldnt ban people just because a few people make enough noise, you included Patriot =/

Anyone who complains is included. If people wanted to see gay porn they would go look it up.

Porn sprays aren't a get-out-of-jail-free card. Gay or not. From what I can tell you were banned for general disruption, the chat logs seem to agree. (for instance, calling people 'homophobic retards')

You were told you were being disruptive, and continued regardless. Faron did the right thing.

But that's besides the point, he was asked to remove it, or change it. he didn't so he was banned for a day. Disregarding an admins request, that how I see it. If one guy can get away with ignoring an admin more people will.
 
I might be blind but I see nowhere in the Rules that someone could be banned for having homosexual sprays. Neither I see a rule granting admin a privilege to ban someone for failure to comply with request to remove the spray.
Even though I personally find OP's spray really disgusting, I have to say that this particular ban was unjustified. If we follow the rules "by word" (like Mr. KillerZebra does) - let's follow them precisely.

Judgements always a factor and personally I think the rules could use some revising.

pornographic sprays are pretty much gray area in the rules, it becomes colored due to peoples perception of it, people who spray boobs could've gotten a warning for it too for being too disruptive, it just so happened that your spray happened to have an ejaculating dick on it, and apparently enough people felt like they didn't want to see it.

exposed female body parts just happen to be more-or-less accepted by people, more so than man-on-man action, it isn't so much that i'm a homophobic gay-hater because i think boobs are more easy on the eye than a raging, vein-popping erection, it's just that i don't want to look at it. naked lesbians wrestling each other down? awesome, some guy sucking some other guys dick whilst a different guy fucks him in the butt? not so much. (not that i would try and get the spray removed, i don't really get bothered by sprays.)

Rules can go as far as someone sees fit, is that always good? no. But I believe that in this case it's fine it's a one day ban for disobeying an admin, and disrupting game play. As far as the rules go I want to have a sufficient list that people can agree and disagree on before presenting.

This i understand, for what difference it makes, i didnt notice the admin warning me - though to be fair I really wasnt expecting any admin to say anything to me, given i didnt break any rules.

This i dont understand - i honestly wasnt disrupting anything. I think it's unresonable to expect me to predict what others will find 'disruptive'. I dont think it's unresonable to re-spray my spray if its covered up by childish players - much like just about anybody else that has their spray covered =/

I think the source of any disruption was homophobic attitudes to the spray by some other players - not the admin - and i dont think you should (even though you can) submit to players complaints when they are based on prejudice.
