Saw the edit from shooting to punch fyi. But words are words. Call my mother if someone harasses me? Ha, I laughed at that one. It's not being a "ninny" as you put it, it's an easy solution which makes things easier for everyone involved. It seems all you are trying to do is make me look pathetic in order to make it seem as though he was doing something chivalrous instead of aggravating a conflict.
If someone punches you in the jaw, by all means go ahead. Retaliate. Your choice. But choices like that have more consequences than if you just said "Fuck it." And walked away.

You went over the damn top. You kept going, and you got to the point where you were barely even playing the game, I am assuming, and were just on the server to flame some kid. "Go get fucked by your two dads, you adopted" blah blah blah? Really?
I marked it dumb because you said, "I won't even learn from this," and that you won't stop. And you're requesting an unban?
As for shit sandwich guy over there, he's in the exact same boat. Saying that it's okay to literally ruin a server with your constant, RIDICULOUSLY inappropriate and disruptive flames is equally retarded.
I am not the perfect person to give an opinion on this, however I know where the limit is. And everyone here knows without a doubt that you intentionally and consciously crossed it, and intend to do so in the future.
I originally disagreed with Zebra banning you, but I'd even do it longer if I took it into my hands (don't intend to).

i'd like to suck it all up like some verbal abuse resistant sponge, but once a sponge is full; even the slightest amount of pressure will lead to all sorts of contained abuse leaking from every imaginable pore.
i can shrug off abuse, heck it wasn't until two maps that i could even talk back, you think listening to 2 hours of a bunch of smug people talking shit about how they muted you and talking other shit about you doesn't rise up any sort of need to put them in their place? i also play for my amusement, getting trodden on and off for multiple sittings isn't my idea of fun, yet apparently denying people from doing that will net me another ban, risky situation.
Just ignore it. If it builds up, release it somewhere where it won't cause problems. That's the best I can say to you. You may not like it, but it does solve a bunch of problems.

me going over the top is subjective really, besides that's not the meat of the argument because i was always aware that "going over the top" wasn't a bannable offense.it just so happened the rule got magically made just for convenience, and i'm contesting that, because that's stupid.
i was able to play just fine, i play on the server to kill hale, not stay on longer than i want just for the purpose of evening the score (i was the one who left after i got bored playing VSH). what's dumb about standing up for yourself though? if you people tell me that i'm not allowed to do that, then yes; i'll tell you that i won't learn from this fathomless mistake you people are accusing me of making.

Being an admin, I get more lip than a rich dude at the Red Light District. You know what I do? I sit there, record everything, wait until they either leave or stop, and resume playing the game.
Depending on what I recorded, I ask for help from another admin and see what to do from there.

i really don't retaliate all the time, it's just that this one time i had to sit through two entire maps with my mouth stapled shut whilst OP and some other people were having their turn bashing me, i just refuse to just sit there in a corner whilst they pile insults on me, nobody should have to go through with that and i fully advice people to man the fuck up once in a while. and that's what i did.
if i knew that insulting people (or being a douchebag, whatever you call it) is against the rules, i would keep my cool, F12 that shit and report it here like i do with other bannable offenses, but considering it's not; i feel it's my right to hit people back, albeit harder.
considering it's not against the rules, you could understand that i feel dicked. this particularly didn't sit well after i got banned from the forums for a rule i never broke to begin with; and all the whilst arguing, bringing up proof to beg to differ; all i get is silence. i fear in this thread the same thing will happen. gg

at least i can take solace in the fact that i got banned for breaking the unwritten, cryptic "going too far" rule, and not for any of the known written rules, just seems uncanny that some admins are just zealous when it comes to defending their right to act like douchebags, even when they're the ones starting to act like it.

you say "retaliate only" as if that's the only language i speak. i speak many tongues, retaliation is one i reserve mostly in multiplayer games though, a 500-word explanation isn't needed at times when you know the person you are saying it to won't appreciate your effort and will call you names regardless of what you do, a simple "fuck you, you insufferable cunt" would suffice, but apparently that's trolling.
