If you absolutely need to say something, just message one of the admins. I'm not going to name any names, but there's a handful of members who would benefit from this advice.

I'm pretty sure the message that Bott's trying to get across is don't post any comments that may be harmful to a trader's business. Telling them that they're overpricing an item can be detrimental to somebody's trades, even if the general population agrees that it's overpriced. If they want to try to sell an uncraftable football helmet for 5 ref, that's their own problem, but don't make it worse.

However, I think that telling somebody that they're underpricing an item may be very helpful. You're not damaging anybody's trading abilities that way, and you're helping somebody out who may not have known the real value of something.

Personally, I think that if you disagree with somebody's price, just rate the post "Disagree" or something and move on, or talk to them via PM/Steam.

So basically don't tell them to lower their too high prices but feel free to tell them to up their too low ones. Should be allowed but I don't make the rules.

What about a new rating button? one called 'price check' If someone rates you as price check, it means go recheck your prices. the trader should be able to remove the 'price check' themselves, or only the OP can see the rating on their thread.

Telling somebody that they're overpricing just stirs up shit. Everybody's free to make up their own prices for their items, but nobody is forced to buy them at that price. It'll help to keep a lot of unnecessary drama from showing up in the forums.

Imagine in rl, going into a shop and shouting, "damn these products are expensive" "they sell down the road for half that".

What I meant should be allowed was the thing you said.
