Now, i don't know if this will work completely, and bott isn't on for me to ask him, but

What if we made the unmoderated section a private forum, with the only barrier to seeing it that you need to be logged into the forum?

Random people passing through won't see us going insane on each other. It won't scare new users away, and people browsing the trade section won't get bombarded with NOUs in the new threads.
