there are a couple things i would like to possibly happen:
First and I think some of the starting seed players might like this is if we had bots that didnt attempt to cap only scrimmed in the mid area as in if theres a way to remove those paths from there AI.

Secondly and i may be alone on this one but i think possibly a change to The cap to win numbe rmight be nicer if it were say bumped up to 5 instead of 3 i prefer long games over the short steam roll of a round
 
thanks for just disagreeing would you care why to state you disagree Del. when i see you in there you just want tot trade and challenge people to duels so as of thus far your vote doesn't matter if you'd care to elaborate then i might count your vote as slightly useful
 
Lol you are not to judge which votes matter and which don't.
I like the round length. Allows more duels. More fun.
I think the more vanilla the server is the better it is for quickplay players. So we shouldn't change it really.
 
i dont follow your logic if you have longer rounds you can have longer duels but i suppose you follow logic so ill leave it alone

I don't want longer duels. I want many duels with different people. So if a round is short I can duel more people.

We should leave the server as it is.
It's full and fun

Del if the rounds are super short and they steam roll through, with out the other team being able to set up properly and you challenge someone to a duel at the start of one of these said rounds you basically waste a mini-game and therefore money and i know how much you hate to loose money

Look I duel a lot and the round length on turbine is good. I don't see why we should change it. And as Rvsy said if the duel is 0:0 I don't lose it.

And as I said many times if we change it then we lose quickplay players.
You seem to ignore that . . .
 
TL;DR Steak's trying to change a stock server for the better, disregarding that it's meant to be stock. No offense, these are probably good suggestions (I don't play Turbine much), but it's not gonna happen.
 
ok so most dont like the big change but how about the other one the changing of the bots so they dont go capping every few seconds on each other

Let's do that second point first... you prefer long games over short ones? What Turbine have you been playing? I love that server but even I'll call it turtle fortress 2 when one team has high fragging powerhouses and the other team really does not want to loose in under ten minutes. You can be there for daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaays. I was in a round once that had 30minutes between caps. IT WAS LIKE A TF2 VERSION OF HELL. As it is most turtle fests don't end because of the end of round but because the good engis or fraggers leave the server. o.0 If you want rounds to last longer when there are people there with you just coach them. I've had success with that, esp if they're new at the game and are failing due to ignorance.

Now for the bots. Wouldn't it be a bitch to need to change that pathing lanes for them? I mean, if you want to spend an hour just killing bots why not defend your intel? I was in turbine pro with you for a little bit way too early last night and that's exactly what I did. There were no engi bots so my bot team went out and got the intel and I stayed on the intel as a soldier and was credit to team . I dunno. I don't really think you need the changes.
 
Sadly i shouldnt have to defend the Intel against the bots as maybe i just want to kill them and not worry about getting cap crits or getting dom'd at the end of the round, i mean when the server drops below like 8 or 9 people you can just scout rush and end the game quickly and it gets annoying meaning you really cant get any good setups going and then when the server drops below 6 on each side then the bots feel the need to go cap while we're just scrimming mid field.
 
Sad times. I suppose this just means that we need to make one person sit in intel as an engineer. We will draw straws.

Why go engi when you can be soldier or demo?The bots get some crazy resistances once you've killed them a dozen times o.0 Medics can take down a level 3!

And fiiiine, I guess I'll do it...
