Word file error in use

Need help in opening a corrupted word file.
Your help is highly appreciated.

error: " The office open XML file xxxx.docx cannot be opened because there are problems with contets"

Details:
Equal expected
Location: part: /word/document.xml, Line:2, column: 4395

You would have to post the file for us to have any chance of seeing what is wrong, as that error tells you.

Hi,
Have you tried the following?
1. Open MS Word and click on File and then Open as if you were normally going to open the file.
2. Now select the file you want to open by single-clicking on it, do not double-click the file. Now instead of clicking on Open, click on the small arrow at the far right of the Open button and choose Open and Repair.
3. Thats it! Word will repair the document and open it for you.
