What's going on with you guys?

I have seen [casual.tf](https://casual.tf) in a lot of peoples tags. You seem to be advertising and welcoming people. However, I tried playing on your servers today and they were essentially empty. I played around on KOTH Kong King by myself for a little bit just for funsies, then I suddenly got a message saying "You are banned from [casual.tf](https://casual.tf)" -\_-
I tried going to your Discord server, but it won't let me in?
My partner and I play TF2 a lot, and she tried connecting to [casual.tf](https://casual.tf) and got banned as well. Do you IP ban?
So far she wasn't treated very nicely by the admins who are running it. I decided to give it a go just to see what would happen, and now I'm banned as well.
There was... nobody even on the server. I don't cheat or hack, and I literally just setup my new gaming computer fresh out the box today. I haven't even played TF2 in about 2 months.
My partner and I believe whatever you're using to manage your servers has to be broken. Either that or the new IP we got recently (after our router was down for 4 hours last week) maybe was used by someone else?
My partner said the admins accused them of cheating, which they do not. I just got a brand new computer and I don't cheat either, and I got banned. If it was from you banning my partner via IP falsely (and yes, it is false I watch them play all the time) then I can accept that you might have banned their IP which we both share. (We live together.)
However, it didn't ban me right away. It took like, 3 minutes. So I'm going to guess whatever you're doing on your servers is glitching out big time. Neither of us cheat. I just setup a BRAND NEW COMPUTER and connected fresh with TF2 running on default settings and got banned.
I normally play on Skial and I donate there and have never had an issue. I've also played on several community servers in the past.
What's going on? My partner tried very hard to talk to the admins who run the server separately, and they never got a solid response except she "associates with cheaters" in their Discords. Which is true, she joined the Discords a long time ago last November when OneTrick had his bots, and was kind of adopted into their community even though she doesn't cheat.
I am in no Discords related to such at all.
Not to be rude but, we seriously have no idea what's going on. She's currently freaking out thinking it was a run in she had with a non-admin member of their community a few months back who just decided to ban us for no reason.
Has this happened to anyone else, or is she / we being targeted?
We both have nothing against [Casual.TF](https://Casual.TF) at all and simply wanted to play there, but something shady is going on... or you guys are just assuming things people are telling you about my partner. (She has been stalked by people in TF2 in the past. We used to share the same Steam account to play games on, but she got a new one last December to play on her own. I still get harassed by members of the community occasionally because they think I'm her.)
We are a lesbian couple and she identifies as "they/them" and has presented masculine in games before. I as a woman have been harassed tons of times because "OMG GURLS IN VIDEO GAMES."
Like, are women and trans people not welcome on your community? What's going on here?
Why is my partner banned and why am I banned? I don't even know any of you and I don't go in cheating Discords. I also was able to play for a solid 2 and a half minutes on an empty server by myself... So if you're IP banning isn't that like... instant?
We both had thought about creating a separate type of "TF2" community exactly like this, so we were excited to play. But so far the admins are telling my partner she cheats... and I try to play, and I get banned.
She's recorded her experience with [Casual.TF](https://Casual.TF) (the whole 10 seconds she got to "play" there) as well as the admin's response (or lack thereof) via desktop recording program, including the conversations (if you can even call them that.)
We're both being completely transparent, but frankly... We've done nothing wrong. So, what's up with the bans?
Frankly this isn't a good start to running a TF2 community... At least from our perspective.
Since you're ignoring us in private, maybe asking on a more public platform is more appropriate? Assuming you don't delete this.
You advertise [Casual.TF](https://Casual.TF) as public servers yet you're treating it like private servers or a "secret club" and honestly, not even Skial has a reputation that negative... And they ban people and are rude to people on their forums almost daily... But they are professional and resolve issues and actually provide evidence and feedback.
I mean, maybe you don't want us comparing other communities to yours but... Like, we are probably the 2 people least likely to ever cheat or cause trouble anywhere... And mysteriously we are banned.
So, what's up guys?
