What Do You Want in Fallout 4?

-More variety in energy weapons
-Ability to turn into a Ghoul
-Non shitty engine
-Creating settlements or camps
-Not to be touched by Bethesda
-Continue after the main story is over
-More companions, maybe require higher Charisma to befriend them
-Actual clothing physics
-Better animations

These probably won't happen since Betheshit will end up making it but it's nice to fantasize.

less uniform gore, more 'small-town america'-esque locals to visit (i really liked Andale and that one town with the robot-guy and ant-queen) and get submerged in.

i wouldn't really mind bethesda making it, i loved fallout 3, but i wouldn't be opposed to obsidian making it either; it'll probably use an enhanced engine Skyrim is using (implementing more dismemberment for sure). i also hope you start out in a vault again.

The reason I wouldn't want Bethesda making it because Fallout 3s story seemed like utter horseshit and seemed rushed.
I wouldn't mind it using an engine similar to Skyrim, at least people won't explode into a million gibs when you shoot them in the arm.

Take Fallout: New Vegas and do a major overhaul in terms of physics and graphics. (I don't want to be able to kill an NPC by shoving a barrel into them)
Work more on fixing exploits and bugs. (I can level up normally instead of exploiting some speech checks or endless speech loops)

I don't know why, but I found Fallout 3 to be better than Fallout: New Vegas. More doesn't always mean better. Plus, the casinos were incredibly underwhelming and there were less memorable characters. And all the DLC's except Old World Blues sucked (especially Dead Money, which was godawful). The only characters that I can even remember from New Vegas off the top of my head were Mr House, Fantastic, Rex, and Yes Man.
Anyway, I want better graphics and more gore. And more interesting characters. And more weirdness. And more super mutants. And less bugs. And a more post-apocalyptic rather-than-a-spaghetti-western feel of the game. Could add more things right now but I am feeling sleepy.

• More voice actors (this is a recurring problem for Bethesda I guess)
• A quest-related Ghastly Gibus that weighs 100 pounds and is worth 0.5 caps

The reason I wouldn't want Bethesda making it because Fallout 3s story seemed like utter horseshit and seemed rushed.

i found fallout 3 to be more memorable and have a better lasting impressions than new vegas, although new vegas is arguably the better game in the end if you take everything in account. fallout 3 had really good set pieces and interesting locals, new vegas is arguably the better fallout game; if fallout 4 can be the best out of both worlds then fallout 4 will be amazing.

I want more missions with companions. I want more interactions between your companion and the world at large. I want the companion ai to be less spotty.

I want significantly more random things that can be collected. I thrive off of collectibles. They are my lifeblood.

I want the hardest mode to be something other than 'oh hay, i wonder if the distance between this toilet and the next town's toilet is short enough that I won't have to drnk my precious purified water.'

I want the dlc to include SIGNIFICANT additions to the story.

I want to be able to have a game after i win.

I want to be able to have a family. I want to be able to get married. I want a homestead.

I wish you could be a ghoul, or a dog, or a fiend, or just complete the game as any faction that you can come into contact with, and not just be the "Vault Dweller" every time or the "Courier" every time you play.
