What do you think about TF2 economy?

Well I have noticed the economy in the TF2 isn't what it used to be. Keys being 20 ish ref now. Will TF2 die because players can't buy items? I want to hear your opinion because I think it's time I quit TF2 while the gettins still good. So I can at least get profit out of my back pack.

If you don't by hats how can you learn to use WASD? Or upgrade your Atari joystick to a mouse.

I think we can all agree that at one point in time we told ourselves "We don't need hats to play TF2."
But we never really applied it to our lives, ever.
