I will admit, I was looking more into style than how well it was. At the time on hunting for a car, I was kinda of rushing because I was trying to move out of a house. (I am a dumbass, I’m aware)
My first car was a 2004 mustang. We all make mistakes. Always look up ratings for a specific car model and look at websites that give actual feedback.

Currently have 118,000 on it, when I bought it it had 115,000+.
I regret buying this car due to the fact that I have paid a lot to get errors fixed on it.
Seller told me tires were in good condition. That was a lie. 2 of my tires were flat due to having screws in them. I don’t know why...
The alignment was way off when I first bought it. Went to get it fixed. It wasn’t too well but as long as I had my wheel pushed a little to the left it was okay. I got it fixed again when my tire on the left top was worn down due to the alignment. Used a backup one for a while. (Yay to my uncle for teaching me how to change tires). Took it to a different shop, fixed it properly that time.
A pipe connected to the coolant was torn. I wasn’t aware until I had Jerma tell me what was probably the problem because my car overheated. (Thank you Jerma)
Alternator was fucked up
Almost crashed because the alternator gave out mid drive. Luckily it was 11:50 pm and no one was around.
Also need to get to get new wipers but my dumbass is too lazy or forgetting about it. Next paycheck hopefully I can remember.
Also some dumbass hit the left side of my car 2 months ago during the night. It’s not bad but there is a dent that’s not too noticeable unless you actually look closely. That has a mark of a headlight.
basically Jerma helped me find out problems with my car.
All these issues happened in a span of 6 months.
Ha my Volvo decided it didn't want to start on my first day driving alone, I pulled into a gas station for some snacks, and when I got back in, the starter was completely dead, turned out corrosion had eaten the wire between it and the solenoid, so that was a fun 300$ repair. Also mine has no handbrake and it would cost over 1000$ to get one since they took out everything related to the hand brake.

Also would recommend the Bosch Icons for wipers, I put them on my Volvo last month and was amazed at how little they dragged back onto the window when going back into the resting position, and they are all plastic/rubber, so they hug the windshield very nicely

had a '97 Ford Escort that served me well for several years, despite lacking a CD player and eventually an inability to shut off the radio altogether (the volume knob was also a pushbutton toggle that stopped locking in for 'off'), sounding like I ran over a clown whenever I applied the brakes (brakes squeaked faintly, imagine that a kid's going to town squeezing a bicycle horn a block or two away), and shitty climate controls; the AC didn't work (can't remember if that ever got fixed) and the engine took forever to warm up enough to defrost the windshield during winter (one night's short drive, I opted instead to stick my face out the window for visibility since no roads were involved, it was all within a single subdivision)

now I share a 2011 Subaru Forester which I don't really have any stories for
