Welp, this is where I'm hopping off.
1.2k hours over 3 years. I loved this game. I loved the concept of a no-thrills military-themed battleground bonanza. Even when the servers for OCE got knocked out for the better part of a year, I still kept gunning for it.
But watching Wacky play the new patch has just showed how out of touch Bluehole is to anybody outside of the super-casual players in East Asia. And you know what? I get it, at this point in the game's life they're probably the only real major source of income, but it just sucks to see this game go from a very solid, slow-paced meat-and-potatoes shooter where skill was needed to cotton candy cosmetics bot massacre simulator. If I wanted that, i could just join a skial TF2 server. I'm done. Good luck to anybody who still wants to keep playing this game, but honestly just look for your fix somewhere else. Go play Squad, Insurgency, Tarkov, ARMA, hell, even the arcadey BF/COD watered-down BR modes. Anything's better than this at this point.
