Wanting To Get Into Anime (need suggestions)

So recently I bought Huniepop because it looked fun and well...lewd pictures. So I was like, "Hmm...maybe I should try and get into some anime shows, but I don't know what the hell I should watch."

So ladies and gents of Skial. I'm looking for good anime shows to watch. They can be violent, lewd, funny, whatever.

Leave suggestions below :).

here are some shows i enjoyed, watched all of them in the past 18 months except for death note which was years ago

- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: cool and clever fights, manliness, really likable characters
- Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.:a pretty short (11 episodes) and emotional story, tears guaranteed
- Steins;Gate: a great time travel Sci-Fi thriller with very good characters (starts out a bit slow)
- Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: so epic it actually kinda parodies anime that tries to be epic, hilarious, has a lot of spirit
- Nichijou: comedy gold, absolute randomness at times
- Death Note: a really interesting concept, perhaps gets a little worse towards the end
