TF2 recently had a patch that support servers up to 100 players. I'm suggesting 50, as with 100 players the server would certainly be unstable and may run into engine limits. Full 32 player lobbies run VSH without issues, so 50 would be a good starting point to see if the servers can handle it.

cant wait for the infinite time rounds, not sure about doing this on the current server but maybe making a seperate server for it would be nice

As Presto said, the round times would get too long to the point of driving people away. Arena mode is not made for high player counts.

However, my game mode remake, Saxton Chaos, can scale up player-wise without any issues.
