Valve Should Keep Sv_Pure 1 Enabled But Add A "Verified Mods" System To Their Servers
This is not something that can't be done with ease. Some community servers like Firepowered and Skial have systems like this.

Here's skials version of this system if your curious.

The game should basically have a feature that scans a mod for any scripting that could be seen as an exploit. If not the mod should be made into a signed vpk with a valve verification in which that mod would be allowed on valves sv_pure system.

This would allow mods like the ones seen in the following post without much trouble from the modders.

The game already has the ability to utilize this signed vpk feature (which is why some community servers use it) so I don't see why valve can't improve upon it a bit and add this type of functionality to their servers.

Those if you with poor fps could finally install mods to improve your fps. Those of you wanting higher graphical quality could look for mods that improve such. Those of you who don't care can continue doing so but now the options there in case you want to try modding sometime later.

It's a win for everybody.

sv_pure 1 already uses a whitelist that determines what assets are allowed to be modded

it's funny 'cause he confused sv_pure 1 for sv_pure 2
