Problem solved. Unneeded alerts!

So, on steam, whenever I log into steam, I see that I have a "message", only to find out that it is in fact, a comment on someone else's profile! I have no use knowing that other people get comments on their profile, and I was wondering if I can turn this off and how. Thanks!

Bump! I really want to turn this stuff off! There's no reason for me to know whenever some random person gets a comment on their profile!

Go to Settings of your Steam client, and uncheck the boxes:

Also, Go to your Steam profile, then switch to the tab "Home" and click on "Blotter settings":

Then you should be able to tweak it in the way you'd like.
