A complete remaster of the long-standing trade_portal_13 trade map hosted on Gamebanana and on Trade EU before switching over to trade_aperture_v2.

Currently, the finished map will include;
  1. Completely redone texture layout suited more to Portal's style.
  2. Props and Decor unique for both teams while suited more to Portal's style.
  3. Bugs found in the original trade_portal_13 are fixed.
  4. Integration of Skial's Safezone and Spycrab plugins.
  5. Proper Skybox and Lighting
What I have not considered, but not sure about;
  1. Adding Boxing Ring and Boxing Ring Plugin support.
  2. Re-purposing the down-stairs rooms and portal-chute rooms for new, trade relevant purposes.

This project more than likely won't be hosted on Trade US or Trade EU, so when it is finished I will be hosting it on Gamebanana

Looking good! And the two ideas you say you're considering are great ideas, as long as you can theme them well. I'm not great at theming so I don't know what to suggest. All I can say right now is "nice job!"

TBH, these are the kind of trade maps people want but will never get. I know it will never happen, but I wish we could have this on Trade US, it'll be fun to fly around in it.

Could use some refletive textures or cubemaps and texture grids alligned properly, also a good 3d skybox like a giant facility which you can't see end cause of fog.

This is a test build I showcased here, cubemaps aren't properly built yet. Texture alignment is WIP, I haven't finished retexturing yet

Where do i find a map without a sky background like this one?
I finished this map ages ago and I released it on TF2maps. You can download it there

Sure, I plan on making an major update to it, but you can download the current version. I'm mostly carrying over stuff from my plaza portal map and re-doing textures since plaza portal is more or less finished. Maybe once it's finished I'll suggest it for Skial's trade servers

Thank you so much! I played this during the spring of 2020 in Skial server when coronavirus pandemic hit in Romania, it's an unfortunate that this map is not in the server anymore. 😢
