Toxic players rant and question.
I quite like the players of Team Fortress 2. I've noticed, as a whole, the TF2 community is pretty great. I've made a lot of friends through this game and am always so happy to see the different ways servers can take a break from it all to have a little fun. But all it really takes is one toxic player to really flip things on their head.
Or, in my case tonight, two toxic players. Without saying a word to either of them, two pissed off 20-somethings attacked me for any reason they could. My less-than-excellent ping, my loadout, dancing in spawn at the beginning of the round... But when they latched onto my current steam avatar from "Zootopia" it was over.
"How honestly can you be a fucking adult and admit to wanting to dress up like an animal and fuck dogs? You should do your family the honor of just fucking killing yourself."
*sigh*
This is mostly a venting post but also one of curiosity. Why do people do this? Is there anything to be gained by being a jerk on a Skial server at 1 AM? Better yet, if you are somebody who is this toxic in games, can you explain what makes you do it?
