The worst part of the death of valve servers that no one mentions
Is how absolutely ass the average community server's hitreg is. I don't know how I seem to be the only person who notices this but it really feels like the quality of the hitreg has taken a dump compared to where it was a month ago.

Official MM servers as well as high level community servers (pugs, scrims, a few high quality pubs) have decent reg but playing on skial for the first time in 2 years is giving me an aneurysm because the models are like 2 feet in front of the hitboxes. Even projectiles feel like ass somehow. Rockets and pipes will have a weird "fuzz" to their fire where they don't come out right when you click but at some random point in the future.

If I was a new player I'd drop this game after 15 minutes if my teething experiences were filled with every hitscan class being borderline unusable and every explosive class having weird RNG timings for fire rate

Please for the love of god if you run a community server chain, drop half your servers and pay more for the other ones because right now you're actively making me not want to pub
